The latest Acuitus/MSCI Investment seminar reflected on how the retail sector – which drives a high proportion of auction room sales – is faring.
MSCI’s Luke Pakes reported on the profile of retail yields in comparison to the industrial and office sectors while Richard Auterac talked through examples of recent retail assets that had sold at auction, and also gave his thoughts on where retail rents are headed.
The 100+investors present also heard from Stuart Buchanan of Acuitus Finance about lenders’ attitudes to retail and also what finance is available generally to auction buyers.
