Acuitus has appointed Jon Skerry as Acquisitions Director to expand its consultancy across the private treaty commercial property investment market.
Acuitus Director, Charlie Powter, commented: “The comprehensive UK market knowledge that our auctions provide means that we are increasingly sought out by clients who also want to make strategic purchases in the private treaty market.
“Jon has more than 15 years of experience in commercial property investment and will source new opportunities for the Acuitus investor base. His newly created role will operate in parallel to Acuitus auctions and will bring a new dimension to the process of acquiring commercial real estate through the private treaty marketplace.
Formerly with Buchanan Bond and JLL’s Auctions & National Investment team, Jon has transacted deals across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK.
He commented: “I am excited about joining Acuitus and adding a new facet to their already highly successful market offering. The team are all well-known to me, and I will be working closely with Charlie Powter to provide the Acuitus client base with investment strategies outside of the auction market”.
